Felipe Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Federico Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Ledesma having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Jeremias Joseph cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Federico Ledesma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Federico Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Felipe Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Jeremias Joseph who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uriburú's Federico Ledesma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Felipe Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Tello charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Tello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Uriburú's Humberto Tello got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes, C.A. Aldosivi's Geronimo Kelemen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Federico Ledesma came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. Aldosivi reached it. If Felipe Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jeremias Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Aldosivi's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Joseph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Ledesma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner led C.A. Aldosivi's Felipe Fresco to fire away a dangerous shot which Federico Ledesma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Joseph in the 44th minute of play forced Uriburú's goalkeeper Federico Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jeremias Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Joseph to make the kick off. Gaston Maule hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Joseph's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Ledesma was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Federico Ledesma made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Jeremias Joseph sent off a good shot on target. Federico Ledesma was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Jeremias Joseph capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeremias Joseph really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Federico Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Joseph in the 73rd minute of play. Lino Fernado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Ledesma made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Felipe Fresco sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Uriburú getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Alberto Bernal hit a great ball. C.A. Aldosivi played a much better game than Uriburú and deserved their victory. The Uriburú players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
