Ambrosio Tartalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Toribio in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moreno's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luis Berdaitz was slow to take the kick. During this time Poseidon AC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Poseidon AC's Luis Berdaitz to fire away a dangerous shot which Gregorio Virila despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gregorio Virila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Mikeldi in the 14th minute of the match. Prospero Toribio charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Toribio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Poseidon AC booed when Moreno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Toribio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Prospero Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Poseidon AC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Tartalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Toribio. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Damaso Lluc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambrosio Tartalo. Poseidon AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Lluc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Hikmet İlbey charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hikmet İlbey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hikmet İlbey hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Prospero Toribio made the kick off in the second half. Prospero Toribio scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrosio Tartalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Lluc in the 62nd minute of play forced Poseidon AC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Poseidon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Toribio came free, but Ambrosio Tartalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Poseidon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Lluc came free, but Ambrosio Tartalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Poseidon AC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Teofilo Salomon hit a great ball. Gregorio Virila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Berdaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Hikmet İlbey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moreno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Camilo Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Moreno's Leonides Aznaro got a free kick in the 87th minute. Blas Hanot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gregorio Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moreno made a substitution. Runar Svardal replaced Damaso Lluc.
