In the 27th minute, Iker Garaile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventud Las Piedras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 30th minute, Anibal Otsando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elvio Dabi. The goal made the score 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Tavio got free with Elvio Dabi in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juventud Las Piedras's Bernabe Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Ubarna in the 42nd minute of play. Alvaro Reynardo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Reynardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvaro Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melchor Gilesindo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Juventud Las Piedras's Eloy Vellito got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Leonel Darien hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes, Juventud Las Piedras's Edgardo Txaran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elvio Dabi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventud Las Piedras reached it. Minusas's Elvio Dabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Marin in the 61st minute of play. Iker Garaile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Dabi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Federico Tavio came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Juventud Las Piedras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Tavio couldn't finish the play. Elvio Dabi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Otsando went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Filomeno Lia's late challenge caught a Juventud Las Piedras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Lia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Juventud Las Piedras booed when Minusas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Loren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Minusas's zone, Iker Garaile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Dabi came out of the goal and Iker Garaile tried to chip the ball over his head.
