The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfonso Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Endura having to interfere. Los Millos de carilo's Eusebio Endura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Los Millos de carilo from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Giro came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eusebio Endura could save by the left post. Wilfredo Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Breogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Los Millos de carilo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rodero AFC:s goal. Eusebio Endura had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcial Colon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 17th match minute, Los Millos de carilo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Moyle to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Giro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Giro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Eusebio Endura made a huge save. Benigno Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Alfonso Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Rodero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Modestio came free, but Wilfredo Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Domingos Txeru notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Los Millos de carilo's Eusebio Endura. Eusebio Endura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Breogan made a kick off. Wilfredo Osoitz made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Humberto Breogan sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Graeme Moyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes, Tomás Kinsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Millos de carilo and the Rodero AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Millos de carilo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tomás Kinsen hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Graeme Moyle threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rodero AFC's Cristo Nuxila quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cristo Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Breogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Wilfredo Osoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Cristo Nuxila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodero AFC and the Los Millos de carilo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristo Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Ciriaco Modestio came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Los Millos de carilo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Modestio couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Rodero AFC's zone, Humberto Breogan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Osoitz came out of the goal and Humberto Breogan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Millos de carilo's Eusebio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Giro in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rodero AFC's Prospero Lidon got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ciriaco Modestio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute.
