The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Americo Costante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. 孟朗兴 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rosendo Kemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Rosendo Kemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Americo Costante fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cipoletti FC's protests and gave Americo Costante a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jovita booed when Cipoletti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Americo Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Jovita defense, Americo Costante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 孟朗兴. The Jovita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 孟朗兴 should have stopped the shot. 孟朗兴 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 巩坤鹰 in the 25th minute of the match. 巩坤鹰 took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 孟朗兴. 孟朗兴 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Rene Delfino's late challenge caught a Jovita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Delfino helped the player get up and apologised. Rene Delfino hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 34 minutes in the game Santos Sazon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alvaro Bernal. In the 35th match minute, Cipoletti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Delfino to maneuver through the defense. Juan Berger didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Victoriano Theodore's late challenge caught a Jovita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Theodore helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Cipoletti FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Theodore. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Kemen to make the kick off. Juan Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Kemen's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Rosendo Kemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Berger having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Jovita got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Marz. After 63 played minutes Cipoletti FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Ponce. 孟朗兴 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 巩坤鹰 in the 67th minute of play. Juan Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Kemen in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Albino Frechoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Rius lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Cipoletti FC's Juan Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Kemen in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Jovita's goalkeeper 孟朗兴 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Costante. Juan Berger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albino Frechoso went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
