Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Tristan got the match started through his kick off. The referee ignored Olavarria's protests and gave Sebastian Tristan a yellow card for diving instead. Olavarria's Godfredo Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Esiquio in the 6th minute of play. Godfredo Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Esiquio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Benicio Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Humaitá's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Tristan came free, but Benicio Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Muno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Vergaray having to interfere. Sebastian Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Benicio Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Adolfo Chinto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Benicio Vistruario to make any attempt to save it. Ariel Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Humaitá's goalkeeper Benicio Vistruario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anastasio Castulo. 39 minutes into the match, Humaitá's Javier Fagondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Vergaray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Godfredo Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Fagondo in the 45th minute of play. Ariel Muno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Fagondo was the one to do the kick off. Humaitá's Benicio Vistruario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Tristan in the 52nd minute of play. Benicio Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Tristan in the 55th minute of play. Anastasio Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Vistruario having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Romulo Esdras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Olavarria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Chinto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Olavarria booed when Humaitá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Fagondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Olavarria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Castulo to maneuver through the defense. Olavarria's Anastasio Castulo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benicio Vistruario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Castulo in the 89th minute of the match. Godfredo Vergaray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Muno in the 95th minute.
