Teobaldo Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Clemente Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Atilano Bernat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Quirze was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bartolo Silvino got in the 9th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Clemente Quirze handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Berros Futbol Club's Atilano Bernat got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Colas in the 17th minute of play. Bartolo Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Clemente Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bartolo Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Jaime Misael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hernando's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Misael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desiderio Che made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Olayo in the 34th minute of play. Berros Futbol Club's Atilano Bernat got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atilano Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Clemente Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Berros Futbol Club's Teobaldo Aguirre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente Quirze narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Atilano Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Olayo was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Desiderio Che tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Berros Futbol Club getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tiburcio Colas hit a great ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Samuel Olayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hernando's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Olayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bartolo Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Aguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernabe Rosio during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Hernando got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Rosio. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Victorino Hever managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berros Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Hever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Quirze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Arsenio Goiz fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hernando's protests and gave Arsenio Goiz a yellow card for diving instead. Arsenio Goiz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Atilano Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hernando's goalkeeper Clemente Quirze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clemente Quirze was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Atilano Bernat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 94 minute of play. Berros Futbol Club played a much better game than Hernando and deserved their victory. The Hernando players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
