Antonio Veremundo came out of the goal and Marcos Nofre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Girondo's Marcos Nofre got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Guillelmo in the 20th minute of play forced Girondo's goalkeeper Andres Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Nofre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Veremundo having to make a save. In the 30thth minute of the game Alberto Blanco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Cultural Arroyito's Antonio Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Donio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antonio Veremundo. Club Cultural Arroyito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Atilano Guillelmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Girondo's Andres Tabor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Guillelmo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Tabor saved Girondo from getting behind. With a little luck, Girondo's Andres Tabor got control of the ball when Cesar Manilan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Blanco scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Veremundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Antonio Veremundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Girondo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
