After a rather tough play, Santamarina AFC's Zeledon Lazcano got a free kick in the 26th minute. Romulo Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Geronimo Abilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Baumar in the 28th minute of the match. Geronimo Abilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Jerardo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Celso Timo sped through Lavalle FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Javier Lope. Celso Timo's late challenge caught a Lavalle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Timo helped the player get up and apologised. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Javier Lope successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 46th minute Jose Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Abilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Lavalle FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carolo Fernanco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Celso Timo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Lope read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Jose Baumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matias Tancredo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Lavalle FC's Albano Gudesteo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Geronimo Abilio but with some difficulty. Geronimo Abilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Baumar, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute, Jose Baumar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Carolo Fernanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, Santamarina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Alfonso to maneuver through the defense. Albano Gudesteo, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Teo Jerardo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Lavalle FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Jerardo couldn't finish the play. Jose Baumar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 70 minutes of play, Lavalle FC's Teo Jerardo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Abilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geronimo Abilio made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Teo Jerardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Honorato Modestio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lavalle FC's Javier Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Fernanco in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Santamarina AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teo Jerardo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jose Baumar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Geronimo Abilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carolo Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Lope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Santamarina AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
