Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Zonda 's Fabricio Derwin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute of the match, Fabricio Derwin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vinicio Furman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 9 minutes into the match, Suruipiana's goalkeeper Vinicio Furman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Oto. Fabricio Derwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Vinicio Furman made a huge save. Vinicio Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Derwin got free with Vinicio Furman in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Fabricio Derwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vinicio Furman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zonda 's Fabricio Derwin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabricio Derwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Vinicio Furman made a huge save. If Marcelo Hurko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Oto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vinicio Furman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Cuartio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubil Ravinovic in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Suruipiana booed when Zonda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Leonel Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Regis hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Amadeo Cuartio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Bochneck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claes Bochneck to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Suruipiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. Fabricio Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Furman having to interfere. Vinicio Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Oto, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Zonda 's goalkeeper Amadeo Cuartio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claes Bochneck. Lorenzo Aresti hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Baltasar Oto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinicio Furman skillfully saved the ball. After 68 minutes, Romeo Regis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suruipiana and the Zonda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Suruipiana's Romeo Regis got a free kick in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Azevedo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute, Isidro Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Derwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Derwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vinicio Furman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Suruipiana got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Uxio. In the 84th minute, Fabricio Derwin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Furman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Derwin in the 89th minute of play forced Suruipiana's goalkeeper Vinicio Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zonda 's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
