Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jörgen Wallengren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Esther's Geronimo Bilbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Machado in the 3rd minute of play. Florencio Tavio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Wallengren's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Geronimo Bilbo made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Silvio Maldonado sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th minute, Julio Etxepare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Esther's goalkeeper Geronimo Bilbo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Hug. Julio Etxepare's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Tavio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörgen Wallengren in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Tavio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florencio Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Etxepare in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Maldonado got free with Geronimo Bilbo in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Silvio Maldonado took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Geronimo Bilbo to make any attempt to save it. Florencio Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Kusko in the 20th minute of the match. Serafin Hug hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Castaño's Geronimo Bilbo threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eriberto Machado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Geronimo Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Geronimo Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Feliu in the 40th minute of play. Florencio Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Etxepare, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Esther's goalkeeper Geronimo Bilbo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Hug. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Esther's zone, Silvio Maldonado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Bilbo came out of the goal and Silvio Maldonado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute Eriberto Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Bilbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes, Julio Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esther and the Castaño players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Castaño booed when Esther was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Etxepare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Bilbo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Castaño's Serafin Hug. But to his dismay, Serafin Hug quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 61 played minutes Esther got a freekick which was hit by Julio Etxepare. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Machado in the 63rd minute of play forced Esther's goalkeeper Geronimo Bilbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Serafin Hug mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castaño and the Esther players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serafin Hug hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Justino Feliu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castaño fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After 87 minutes, Boris Nanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esther and the Castaño players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Esther getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Boris Nanov hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Jörgen Wallengren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florencio Tavio. The goal made the score 5-2. Castaño's Serafin Hug got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esther's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
