Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leon Bermudez got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Leon Bermudez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Urko made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Lázaro Soter sent off a good shot on target. Leon Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Ayala charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Ayala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Ayala to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Lázaro Soter put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luis Urko. If Artemio Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Soter in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luis Urko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leon Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ramiro Gaitan's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Gaitan helped the player get up and apologised. Ramiro Gaitan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Soter made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Jacobo Jaunzuria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Luis Urko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Artemio Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Lázaro Soter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Urko. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Soter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jacobo Jaunzuria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Urko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Soter in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Urko saved River Plate from getting behind. Isidro Taurino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Ayala in the 81st minute. Luis Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artemio Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Taurino having to interfere. Rio Ceballos FC's Isidro Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Bermudez in the 90th minute of play. Santo Hug hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Rio Ceballos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
