When Tomás Millano came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the La banda de Leo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Millano couldn't finish the play. Esteve Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Lucio Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Feliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Muc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Gerardo Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Tomás Millano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La banda de Leo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half La banda de Leo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Rosalio to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La banda de Leo's Esteve Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Quexal in the 54th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Gerardo Rafel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tomás Millano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Vinicio Baumar made a huge save. Esteve Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, La banda de Leo's Amador Vito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Baumar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Ralondo in the 75th minute of play forced La banda de Leo's goalkeeper Esteve Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Virila's late challenge caught a Muten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Virila helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Muten booed when La banda de Leo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Virila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Millano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La banda de Leo's Ovidio Hulberto got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Ralondo scored 2-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteve Muc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
