Apolo Chan started the match with the kick off. If Alfonso Tajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Chan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Pierres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Tres Cerritos got a freekick which was hit by Americo Cloyo. Florian Cerro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 史天洲, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Dionisio Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Florentino Pierres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, 史天洲 put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Florian Cerro. In the 43rd minute, Gaudencio Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Cerro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Tajo in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Angelo Ihintza hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Apolo Chan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Pierres was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Amadeo Cordaryal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tres Cerritos's Alfonso Tajo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gutemberg booed when Tres Cerritos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gutemberg's Dionisio Pueblo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tres Cerritos. Florentino Pierres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Cerro made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when 史天洲 sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, 史天洲 took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Florian Cerro to make any attempt to save it. In the 86th match minute, Gutemberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Iyan to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Emiliano Bartuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, Tres Cerritos's 史天洲 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florian Cerro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Gutemberg's Florian Cerro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Gutemberg from getting a goal against them. The Tres Cerritos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tres Cerritos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
