Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fidel Gonchan kicked off to start the match. If Osvaldo Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Gorbea in the 5th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Angelino Frantzes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Almafuerte AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Guerau to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte AFC's Urbano Gorbea got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Francisco Tercero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almafuerte AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo the free kick. After 14 played minutes Almafuerte AFC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Tercero. If Osvaldo Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Frantzes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Nicholas in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximino Cheche during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maximino Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Osvaldo Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Quinto having to interfere. Marcos Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Quinto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Osvaldo Iraunkor managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Iraunkor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Quinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelino Frantzes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Gonchan in the 35th minute of play. Angelino Frantzes made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Francisco Tercero sent off a good shot on target. Urbano Gorbea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Angelino Frantzes made a huge save. Horacio Azeari hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. San Lorenzo's Angelino Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Gonchan in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Iraunkor made a kick off. San Lorenzo's Marcos Xacintu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Froilan Quinto but with some difficulty. Froilan Quinto made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Oscar Åkerman sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Almafuerte AFC's zone, Osvaldo Iraunkor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Quinto came out of the goal and Osvaldo Iraunkor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute Urbano Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Azeari struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Froilan Quinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. Angelino Frantzes came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Almafuerte AFC's Tobias Nicholas. But to his dismay, Tobias Nicholas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. San Lorenzo's Angelino Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Tercero in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Urbano Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Gorbea took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelino Frantzes. Angelino Frantzes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 81st minute Francisco Tercero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Frantzes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Nicholas went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Almafuerte AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
