Rodrigo Cesario hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Jaunzuria during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Madero City got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Jaunzuria. In the 17th minute Adrian Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Moise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Julio-César Scudieri made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Olayo. Madero City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Adrian Nevada struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Braulio Moise didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madero City. Marcial Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Paz in the 30th minute of play. Julio-César Scudieri scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Olayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Maximino Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcial Olayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximino Paz went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Vino y Faso were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adrian Nevada made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Adrian Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Moise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marcial Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Madero City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Venancio Acevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Vino y Faso's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Venancio Acevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcial Olayo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Madero City's goalkeeper Marcial Olayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcial Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio-César Scudieri in the 65th minute of the match. Alejo Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Moise having to interfere. Maximino Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marcial Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Madero City's Teodoro Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 75th minute. Madero City's Marcial Olayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio-César Scudieri in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Madero City got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Cesario. 87 minutes into the match, Madero City's goal looked a bit too open when Julio-César Scudieri came free, but Marcial Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Madero City's Marcial Olayo got control of the ball when Maximino Paz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio-César Scudieri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Olayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Julio-César Scudieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Olayo was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the match was over Vino y Faso could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Madero City throughout the match.
