An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Abechuco in the 20th minute of play forced Madero City's goalkeeper Marcial Olayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Jaunzuria's late challenge caught a Diadema AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Jaunzuria helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Lino Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diadema AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Jacindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Olayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Santo Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Madero City's Marcial Olayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Abechuco in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Rodrigo Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Madero City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Diadema AFC were winning 0-2.

Marcial Olayo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alejo Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Oso kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Diadema AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ubaldo Felipo hit a great ball. Diadema AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
