Celedonio Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Siberia's Epifanio Aimar got a free kick in the 5th minute. A hard shot 7 in the game by Atilano Beliran from a close distance when the talented Lorenzo Ugutz managed to make a qualified save. Siberia's players were relieved. Atilano Beliran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Ugutz having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Epifanio Aimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Siberia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diablos Rojos FC the free kick. After 12 played minutes Siberia got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Aimar. Epifanio Aimar hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Arnaldo Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Siberia's goalkeeper Lorenzo Ugutz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Vergaray. The supporters of Diablos Rojos FC booed when Siberia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Katia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos FC's Arnaldo Vergaray got a free kick in the 27th minute. Lorenzo Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Musko in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Siberia's Lorenzo Ugutz got control of the ball when Atilano Beliran tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Maidana came free, but Damaso Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Celedonio Katia might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Abancens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celedonio Katia ran back to his position shaking his head. Epifanio Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Behe struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Damaso Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siberia. Damaso Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Siberia's Lorenzo Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Musko in the 77th minute of play. The Siberia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
