After having played for 3 minutes, Generoso Perpinya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escobar AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Perpinya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Pueblo in the 9th minute of play forced Escobar AFC's goalkeeper Dario Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Escobar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Martinez. After a defensive mix-up in Escobar AFC's zone, Genaro Pueblo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Senio came out of the goal and Genaro Pueblo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Gora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Perpinya in the 18th minute of play. Genaro Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Senio having to interfere. Honorato Rodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dario Senio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Genaro Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Pueblo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Jimeno Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Escobar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Martinez to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes Escobar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Raphael. When Flavio Manex fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Escobar AFC's protests and gave Flavio Manex a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, one of Escobar AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Escobar AFC. In the 47thth minute of the game Genaro Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escobar AFC's Dario Senio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After having played for 55 minutes, Honorato Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Rodas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Erasmo Elazar in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense's Saul Indar. Genaro Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Senio having to interfere. If Genaro Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Pueblo succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Baltasar Gora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Dario Senio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorato Rodas went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 82 played minutes Escobar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Lorencio. Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense's Honorato Rodas got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Senio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Pueblo went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Genaro Pueblo's late challenge caught a Escobar AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Pueblo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Pueblo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
