The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adolfo Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Verner Salkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Beltran. Faro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Verner Salkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Verner Salkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Beltran having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Frutos during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mynabo de Glew's Natalio Ixaka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Mynabo de Glew from getting a goal against them. Faro's Nemesio Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Salkvist in the 23rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Christian Medardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nemesio Beltran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benigno Raymond struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Natalio Ixaka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faro. 45 minutes into the game, Filiberto Quiroga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nemesio Beltran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norberto Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The supporters of Mynabo de Glew booed when Faro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Ihintza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Faro's goalkeeper Nemesio Beltran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mynabo de Glew's Ramiro Maule got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Isidro Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nemesio Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mynabo de Glew's Verner Salkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nemesio Beltran. That made the score 0-4 after 77 minutes of play. Benigno Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Verner Salkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Mynabo de Glew booed when Faro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Erasto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Faro's Ivan Frutos got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the match was over Mynabo de Glew could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Faro throughout the match.
