With a little luck, Faro's Nemesio Beltran got control of the ball when Nuno Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saturnino Mark hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Isidro Ihintza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carpintería FC's Ferman Umar. Ferman Umar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 27 played minutes Faro got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Frutos. Faro's Nemesio Beltran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Faro from getting a goal against them. After 39 played minutes Faro got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Frutos. Nemesio Beltran made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Nuno Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Faro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Ribeiro made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Braulio Odon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpintería FC's Ferman Umar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidro Ihintza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Ferman Umar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jacobo Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Braulio Odon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Faro's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Ribeiro came free, but Nemesio Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faro's Nemesio Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Ribeiro in the 67th minute of play. Braulio Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ferman Umar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Senon made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which German Guzman however managed to control. In the 80th match minute, Faro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Frutos to maneuver through the defense. Ferman Umar was a little too slow when Isidro Ihintza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Odon during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Braulio Odon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Beltran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Romero in the 90th minute of the match. Braulio Odon hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Carpintería FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Faro's performance. The match ended with a win for Faro.
