Erasmo Marques's late challenge caught a Los Castores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Marques helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Erasmo Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Guilabertus, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Berriotxoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Maties was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With his leg Rodolfo Maties managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Los Castores's Marcelino Berriotxoa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ruperto Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Ledesma was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Marcelino Berriotxoa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Rodolfo Maties skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelino Berriotxoa was the one to do the kick off. Rodolfo Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Sabino in the 52nd minute of play. Ruperto Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Maties having to interfere. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Marcelino Berriotxoa sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Maties. 75 minutes into the match, Marcelino Berriotxoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Maties. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Berriotxoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. 78 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Ledesma came free, but Rodolfo Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernan Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Marcelino Berriotxoa put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rodolfo Maties.
