Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Los Gurices Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Castillejo came free, but Teofilo Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desamparados SJ were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Los Gurices Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximino Mouricio took the corner. The corner led Desamparados SJ's Maximino Mouricio to fire away a dangerous shot which Teofilo Oxel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carolo Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Desamparados SJ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Carolo Goren hit a great ball. Teofilo Oxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Castillejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Desamparados SJ's Carolo Goren got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Paulino Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Laurentzi in the 33rd minute of play forced Desamparados SJ's goalkeeper Ladislao Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Oxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Castillejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 65 played minutes Los Gurices Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Beltxe. If Maximino Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teofilo Oxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dante Prejun's late challenge caught a Desamparados SJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Prejun helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Los Gurices Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Dante Prejun. Teofilo Oxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Tano was a little too slow when Dante Prejun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 84th minute, Hector Luken made a precise shot to the right of Ladislao Tano. Desamparados SJ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Castillejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Oxel was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Los Gurices Futbol Club's Teofilo Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Castillejo in the 90th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Gurices Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
