Baldomiro Gaspard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnaldo Clis. Pasco AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ciro Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Dalmacio Benvido made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Clis. Pasco AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Cai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Anacleto Cai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Pasco AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Pastor Haimar sped through Camaron De Paris's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hector González. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Haimar couldn't finish the play.
