El Gran Menotti's Pedro Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Chlebek in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Gran Menotti's Bernabe Hermon got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pedro Gilabert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Chlebek, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes Herederos de Zenón got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Montes. Bernabe Hermon hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A collision led to El Gran Menotti getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bernabe Hermon hit a great ball. Pedro Gilabert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pankracy Chlebek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, El Gran Menotti's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Chlebek came free, but Pedro Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pankracy Chlebek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Gilabert was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The supporters of Herederos de Zenón booed when El Gran Menotti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Ganix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Chlebek struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Pedro Gilabert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herederos de Zenón. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Urki to make the kick off. Pedro Gilabert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Gabrio in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Joaquin Elorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Gilabert was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulino Txordon. Aureliano Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Frankowski in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, El Gran Menotti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Astrada to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Gilabert was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Domingos Frichoso. After a rather tough play, El Gran Menotti's Abd al-Asis Djamel got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Benigno Astrada put in a rough tackle. In the 74th minute, one of El Gran Menotti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Gran Menotti. Abd al-Asis Djamel kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Julian Frankowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pankracy Chlebek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Pedro Gilabert made a huge save. Pankracy Chlebek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pankracy Chlebek in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Gilabert saved El Gran Menotti from getting behind.
