Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucas Feo started the match with the kick off. If Lucas Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes, Lucas Feo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basalto FC and the Barranqueras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Lucas Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Barranqueras FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Elvio Mikelar hit a great ball. If Jerzy Cytrynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Basalto FC's zone, Evaristo Aragones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Costante came out of the goal and Evaristo Aragones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Basalto FC's goalkeeper Oscar Costante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Leizarraga. Jerzy Cytrynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Primitivo Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basalto FC's Lucas Feo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerzy Cytrynski might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primitivo Ler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Cytrynski ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Barranqueras FC defense, Lucas Feo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Ler. The Barranqueras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Ler should have stopped the shot. The Barranqueras FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Basalto FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Leizarraga made a kick off. Evaristo Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Costante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Barranqueras FC's Moises Sidro got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jerzy Cytrynski struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Primitivo Ler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basalto FC. Oscar Costante came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Barranqueras FC's Evaristo Aragones. But to his dismay, Evaristo Aragones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Barranqueras FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lucas Feo 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After having played for 79 minutes, Jerzy Cytrynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Basalto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerzy Cytrynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Leizarraga in the 83rd minute of play forced Basalto FC's goalkeeper Oscar Costante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Basalto FC booed when Barranqueras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Argina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes Basalto FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Bartelt. Zeledon Kaxen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Barranqueras FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Basalto FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Basalto FC.
