Alfonso Rolado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Severiano Laurin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Joaquin Cordera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Gustau came out of the goal and Joaquin Cordera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of River Plate booed when NICOFIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Rolado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Stravin in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Ignacio Jerold dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfonso Rolado, 2-0. Alfonso Rolado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Boguslaw Pilitowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. Joaquin Cordera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Victor Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Joey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Severiano Laurin threw the ball into play from the sideline. NICOFIA's Anier Niva quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

The wind increased when Joaquin Cordera made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ignacio Jerold managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Jerold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Rolado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Gustau came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by NICOFIA's Joaquin Cordera. But to his dismay, Joaquin Cordera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Victor Gustau made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Joaquin Cordera sent off a good shot on target. Octavio Godoy struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Victor Gustau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NICOFIA. The supporters of NICOFIA booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Cordera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Victor Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Cordera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Gustau having to make a save. In the 70th minute, Joaquin Cordera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Cordera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Victor Gustau made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, NICOFIA's Joaquin Cordera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Gustau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfonso Rolado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Jerold in the 77th minute of play. Joaquin Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Erubiel Perrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Erubiel Perrando hit a great ball. NICOFIA's Florencio Kelemen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Victor Gustau but with some difficulty. Joaquin Cordera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Victor Gustau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Octavio Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Cordera in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victor Gustau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joaquin Cordera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Victor Gustau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. There was no doubt that River Plate were the better team. River Plate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
