The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aurelio Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Roberto Vimaro made a huge save. Amado Edwardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Perfecto in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Energía's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Ståhlberg came free, but Roberto Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Energía's Roberto Vimaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Energía from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Ståhlberg in the 16th minute of play forced Energía's goalkeeper Roberto Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Medina got free with Roberto Vimaro in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Ståhlberg in the 18th minute of play forced Energía's goalkeeper Roberto Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th play minute Aurelio Medina came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roberto Vimaro. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Emil Ståhlberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Roberto Vimaro to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Ståhlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Camilo Kemen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Carlomagno got free with Amado Edwardo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Ståhlberg in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Energía's Arnoldo Haimar got a free kick in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jairo Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ushuaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Vimaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Rexino during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Energía got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Rexino. In the 77th minute, Atilano Rexino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Ståhlberg in the 80th minute of play. If Benito Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Medina in the 84th minute of play forced Energía's goalkeeper Roberto Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Ståhlberg in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Leandro Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Edwardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Ur might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amado Edwardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Ur ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Ushuaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Clemencin to maneuver through the defense. Ushuaia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
