Delmiro Estebano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugênio de Sena got free with Delmiro Estebano in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Talleres's zone, Murphy Murphy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Estebano came out of the goal and Murphy Murphy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Nabi Nezir in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmiro Estebano saved Club Atlético Talleres from getting behind. If Ramiro Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Murphy Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nabi Nezir in the 27th minute of play. Club Atlético Talleres's Ramiro Juvenal got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Talleres's Genaro Tajo pulled a muscle in his back after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Eugênio de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugênio de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club Atlético Talleres's Angel Mano was substituted for Genaro Tajo. Eugênio de Sena hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Juvenal in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Meder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Jacobo Mosen with Cipriano Bastia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murphy Murphy to make the kick off. The supporters of Club Atlético Talleres booed when FillipuzziFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Nabi Nezir didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 56 in the game by Ramiro Juvenal from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Meder managed to make a qualified save. FillipuzziFC's players were relieved. Club Atlético Talleres's Ramiro Juvenal got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Juvenal in the 65th minute of play. Americo Honrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Meder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Juvenal in the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Talleres's Ramiro Juvenal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Meder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Ramiro Juvenal sped through FillipuzziFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurelio Meder. FillipuzziFC made a substitution. Enrique James replaced Teofilo Cruz. 84 minutes into the match, FillipuzziFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Meder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Juvenal. Delmiro Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nabi Nezir in the 88th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Talleres walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
