Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fidel Peruxu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Jose Pudes had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Fidel Peruxu's late challenge caught a Quichagua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Peruxu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Quichagua booed when Hernández FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Peruxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernández FC's Justino Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Albäck in the 5th minute of play. Damaso Emenon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Justino Aznar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hernández FC defense, Tomas Rufio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Aznar. The Hernández FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Aznar should have stopped the shot. Nemesio Mosen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Unax in the 15th minute. In the 16th match minute, Quichagua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Valentine to maneuver through the defense. Magnus Albäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Aznar having to interfere. Nemesio Mosen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. When Christian Clis got free in front of the goal in the 28th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Justino Aznar was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Justino Aznar came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Quichagua's Damaso Emenon. But to his dismay, Damaso Emenon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Emenon in the 35th minute of play forced Hernández FC's goalkeeper Justino Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hernández FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Faustino Merexildo hit a great ball. Felix Unax in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nemesio Mosen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 45 minutes into the match, Hernández FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Clis came free, but Justino Aznar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Clis made a kick off. Filomeno Elorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Magnus Albäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Quichagua getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Pedro Valentine hit a great ball. Paulino Haritzeder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Justino Aznar made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Quichagua's Damaso Emenon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Aznar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Clis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Aznar having to make a save. Justino Aznar made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Christian Clis sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Magnus Albäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Justino Aznar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Faustino Merexildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemesio Mosen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Damaso Emenon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Magnus Albäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Justino Aznar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quichagua played a much better game than Hernández FC and deserved their victory. The Hernández FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
