In the 10th match minute, Las Heras F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Iztal to maneuver through the defense. Las Heras F.C's Celso Hitzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Tomi in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Leopoldo Eusko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Arturo Paulin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Pablo Tomi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Hitzeder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Coihueco FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Hitzeder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frédson Meirelles in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celso Hitzeder was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Pablo Tomi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pablo Tomi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Ondino in the 86th minute of play forced Las Heras F.C's goalkeeper Celso Hitzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes, Filiberto Umea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coihueco FC and the Las Heras F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Coihueco FC's Filiberto Umea got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Leopoldo Eusko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Hitzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Ondino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
