Constantino Oso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Cecilio Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantino Oso hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Mauricio Huly in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eliseo Henric, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gardey were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after tigre city's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Freddy Abella took the corner. The corner led Gardey's Moises Inocente to fire away a dangerous shot which Eliseo Henric despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. tigre city's attentive Cecilio Lizardi managed to snatch the ball when Romeo Sazon made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. A collision led to tigre city getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Constantino Oso hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Inocente during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of tigre city booed when Gardey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Inocente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Oso scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Muc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oscar Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Muc having to interfere. A collision led to tigre city getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Constantino Oso hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Gardey got a freekick which was hit by Moises Inocente. With a little luck, tigre city's Eliseo Henric got control of the ball when Mauricio Huly tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cecilio Lizardi charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Lizardi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to tigre city getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cecilio Lizardi hit a great ball. tigre city's Eliseo Henric proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save tigre city from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Saturnin in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Huly made a kick off. Eliseo Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Huly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Saturnin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Mauricio Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Henric having to interfere. If Mauricio Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Saturnin in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Henric saved tigre city from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, tigre city's Constantino Oso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mauricio Huly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gardey's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Huly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Henric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Stephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Gustavo Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Gardey lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
