Aatto Vauhkonen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dante Atarrabi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Real madrid booed when Bravos Muchachitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Candido Montrelle got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Candido Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Gil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Aatto Vauhkonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the Real madrid defense, Leonides Lobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aatto Vauhkonen. The Real madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aatto Vauhkonen should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Vicente Tomi put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Gil. A collision led to Real madrid getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Amancio Jeraldo hit a great ball. If Vicente Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aatto Vauhkonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Although Real madrid had been in control for most of the match, Bravos Muchachitos FC still came away with the win.
