The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Virgilio Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Virgilio Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bartolo Llorenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Pájaro Negro's Virgilio Matthew in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Potrerillo AFC's Bartolo Llorenc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Potrerillo AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Aires during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Bartolo Llorenc, was totally fooled by Pájaro Negro's Anastasio Haimar, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bartolo Llorenc had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Virgilio Matthew from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 36 minutes into the game, Lisandro Birila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bartolo Llorenc. Lisandro Birila showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Maciej Kaczeniak charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maciej Kaczeniak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maciej Kaczeniak kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Virgilio Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Pájaro Negro's Lisandro Birila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Llorenc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Potrerillo AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ulises Marquez hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Virgilio Matthew's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartolo Llorenc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When Elias Vistruario came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Pájaro Negro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Vistruario couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Matthew's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolo Llorenc was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Virgilio Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Llorenc having to interfere. Virgilio Matthew took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartolo Llorenc. Bartolo Llorenc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Virgilio Matthew put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bartolo Llorenc. Lisandro Birila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Llorenc having to make a save. Bartolo Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Birila in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pájaro Negro's Maciej Kaczeniak got a free kick in the 76th minute. The Pájaro Negro fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Pájaro Negro's Lisandro Birila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Virgilio Matthew came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Pájaro Negro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Matthew couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Birila in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartolo Llorenc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the game, Virgilio Matthew cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Bartolo Llorenc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bartolo Llorenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pájaro Negro fully deserved thier win.
