After a defensive mix-up in Los Porteños FC's zone, Ladislao Elodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hong Ao Jie came out of the goal and Ladislao Elodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Hilario Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Elodio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Hong Ao Jie made a huge save. When Bernardino Abalos fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breas FC's protests and gave Bernardino Abalos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, one of Breas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Breas FC. Los Porteños FC's Hong Ao Jie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Perrando in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Breas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Abalos to maneuver through the defense. Hong Ao Jie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Los Porteños FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Perrando came free, but Hong Ao Jie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilario Dominic made a kick off.
