In the 17th minute, Mar del Plata's Virgilio Dalmau dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Urbano Napier was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Urbano Napier hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Feliu charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Feliu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pampayasta AFC booed when Mar del Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Jordy in the 25th minute of play forced Mar del Plata's goalkeeper Jonatan Lesardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Lesardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Jordy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector George in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mar del Plata's Ildefonso Feliu got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Isaac Ler came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pampayasta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Ler couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mar del Plata's goalkeeper Jonatan Lesardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Constancio during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Mar del Plata:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pampayasta AFC:s goal.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector George in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Lesardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Mar del Plata's Sebastian Abar got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Carmelo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Egoitz in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Virgilio Dalmau hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match, Albano Jordy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonatan Lesardo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hector George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jonatan Lesardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mar del Plata's Jonatan Lesardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Mar del Plata from getting a goal against them. Leon Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Carmelo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pampayasta AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Mar del Plata to leave the ground with a draw.
