Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amancio Ulizes started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, river plate's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Ulizes came free, but Gavino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Salvador Sal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BAMBERG's Celso Rosado. Celso Rosado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celso Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Amancio Ulizes took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Polo. Gavino Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Guzman got free with Gavino Polo in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albano Hermelando hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gavino Polo was a little too slow when Amancio Ulizes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-1. river plate's Gavino Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Egoi in the 30th minute of play. After 34 played minutes Filiberto Egoi rounded river plate's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-1. With a little luck, river plate's Gavino Polo got control of the ball when Amancio Ulizes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match, Tobias Guzman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gavino Polo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Sal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 72nd minute, Siro Venceslao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The river plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-2. There was no doubt that BAMBERG were the better team. BAMBERG's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
