Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) C. A. Independiente's Narciso Primo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C. A. Independiente's Narciso Primo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of GLORIOSO INDEPENDIENTE booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Min didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, C. A. Independiente's Reynaldo Min seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Reynaldo Min the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C. A. Independiente protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reynaldo Min had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Reynaldo Min hit a great ball. Fausto Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, GLORIOSO INDEPENDIENTE's Ubaldo Sein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Cresitobalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 30 played minutes GLORIOSO INDEPENDIENTE got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Patxi. Orlando Abadia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucio Oxel. GLORIOSO INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eliseo Otsoa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Ubaldo Sein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Primo in the 46th minute of play forced GLORIOSO INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Lucio Oxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ubaldo Sein to make the kick off. Jacobo Pelayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Oxel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Telo in the 60th minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Rogelio Cresitobalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Primo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucio Oxel came out and tried to block the shot, but Narciso Primo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Tobias Cordarryl managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Cordarryl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Oxel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narciso Primo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucio Oxel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fausto Gotzon hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Sein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Cresitobalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Narciso Primo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Oxel having to make a save. Arnaldo Pietro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Isidro Idacio made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Edgard Gilabert. After having played for 95 minutes, Narciso Primo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Primo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The GLORIOSO INDEPENDIENTE support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
