Cleto Oihan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Brais having to interfere. Aquitannia Rangers's Anier Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Perez in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to River Necochea FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cleto Oihan hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that August Högberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Steven was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, River Necochea FC's Rolando Martino got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Anier Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Perez in the 44th minute of play.

August Högberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Gasteiz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Aquitannia Rangers made a substitution. Octavio Orlandus replaced Aldo Elixio. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Jairo Tabor with Eduardo Hanot as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. River Necochea FC's Moises Urki got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anier Brais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If Ciro Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Perez in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Brais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anier Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Perez in the 92nd minute of play. River Necochea FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
