Thiago da Cunha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 10 minutes of play, Cayuqueo FC's Jaime Sarracino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doncho Bunev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Placido Calisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago da Cunha in the 18th minute of the match. Placido Calisto was a little too slow when Thiago da Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 27th minute, Cayuqueo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Thiago da Cunha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 27th minute, Iker Corderall made a precise shot to the right of Placido Calisto. Cayuqueo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Cayuqueo FC's Placido Calisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago da Cunha in the 33rd minute of play. If Erivaldo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doncho Bunev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Oro went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Sarracino was the one to do the kick off. Doncho Bunev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Oro in the 55th minute. After 59 played minutes Cayuqueo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Mantzio. Gavino Mantzio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Iker Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Thiago da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Calisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Corderall in the 69th minute of play forced Cayuqueo FC's goalkeeper Placido Calisto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Thiago da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Placido Calisto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Placido Calisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago da Cunha in the 72nd minute of play. Lisandro Admon hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Iker Corderall notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Cayuqueo FC's Placido Calisto. Placido Calisto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Cayuqueo FC booed when Banda Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Banda Norte's goalkeeper Doncho Bunev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Selmo. 84 minutes into the game, Banda Norte's Thiago da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Placido Calisto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. After having played for 88 minutes, Thiago da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banda Norte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iker Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Calisto having to interfere. If Erivaldo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Calisto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Corderall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Banda Norte walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
