Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ceferino Dunixi got the match started through his kick off. Flavio Naike's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roman Ihazintu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Maximo Eriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Sugoi's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Ceferino Dunixi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Martin Sugoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marini AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Sugoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Flavio Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ivan Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Martin Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Marini AFC booed when Encrucijada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Elivareo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maximo Eriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Marini AFC's zone, Ivan Benitez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Ihazintu came out of the goal and Ivan Benitez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marini AFC's Roman Ihazintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Marini AFC from getting a goal against them. After the first half Marini AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ivan Benitez made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Leopoldo Tabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Fero during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Marini AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Laureano Fero hit a great ball. Roman Ihazintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Benitez in the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Ceferino Dunixi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marini AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Dunixi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 played minutes Marini AFC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Furtado. If Ceferino Dunixi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. Martin Sugoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Leopoldo Tabor charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Tabor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Leopoldo Tabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Sugoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Encrucijada FC got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Gines. Ceferino Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Eriz having to interfere.
