Freddy Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Abilio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lázaro Dunixi having to make a save. Daniel Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Montae in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Havant & Waterlooville got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Manny. In the 14th minute, Freddy Fernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Gaizkine was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Danilo Pueblo lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Banda FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! 19 minutes into the game, Freddy Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Gaizkine. Freddy Fernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Maximino Bide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Daniel Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Montae during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodrigo Montae hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Carolo Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Gaizkine made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Freddy Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. Diego Fortun struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Lázaro Dunixi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Banda FC. A collision led to Havant & Waterlooville getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rodrigo Montae hit a great ball.

Carolo Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Daniel Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Alonzo Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Havant & Waterlooville's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Jurdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Gaizkine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Gaizkine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Fernandez in the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Bernardo Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Havant & Waterlooville getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Vladimiro Montay hit a great ball. The supporters of Havant & Waterlooville booed when La Banda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Bernardo Banegas threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Banda FC's Carolo Pierres quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Banda FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Havant & Waterlooville.
