Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robustiano Lluc started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Robustiano Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Morelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Lluc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Benicio Oihenarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guido Nastasio. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. If Efrain Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Abel Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Club Atletico Morelia fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Club Atletico Morelia's Robustiano Lluc looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guido Nastasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cleto Curcio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Lluc's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Club Atletico Morelia's Guido Nastasio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Morelia from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Benicio Oihenarte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guido Nastasio, 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Sarmiento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Lluc came free, but Cleto Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Evarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Nastasio having to interfere. If Robustiano Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Robustiano Lluc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Curcio. Sarmiento FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Lluc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Omar Evarado made the kick off in the second half. Cleto Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Jerardo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Basilio Polo fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Morelia's protests and gave Basilio Polo a yellow card for diving instead. Pascual Jerardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Nastasio having to make a save. In the 69th match minute, Sarmiento FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Liberto to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Onofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cleto Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Lluc in the 73rd minute. Sarmiento FC's Cleto Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento FC from getting a goal against them. Benito Bizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Omar Evarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Nastasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Llucs short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Cleto Curcio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 85 in the game by Robustiano Lluc from a close distance when the talented Cleto Curcio managed to make a qualified save. Sarmiento FC's players were relieved. Lorenzo Mitxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Guido Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robustiano Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Benito Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Morelia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
