Narciso Guillem made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Alfonso Intxixu sent off a good shot on target. Narciso Guillem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Lalla in the 18th minute. Fantoche Villa Urquiza's Jorge Opilano got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Intxixu in the 22nd minute of play forced los xeneises fc's goalkeeper Narciso Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Dionisio Lalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fantoche Villa Urquiza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Lalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Angelo Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Narciso Guillem made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dionisio Lalla sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Fantoche Villa Urquiza's Dionisio Lalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narciso Guillem. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. 39 minutes in the game, Sebastian Osasun fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Narciso Guillem having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Alfonso Intxixu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Narciso Guillem, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Intxixu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narciso Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Dionisio Lalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Guillem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Lalla ran back to his position shaking his head. los xeneises fc's Narciso Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Lalla in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Opilano during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of los xeneises fc booed when Fantoche Villa Urquiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Opilano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Alfonso Intxixu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but los xeneises fc's Narciso Guillem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
