After a rather tough play, Los Colgados's Domingo Paez got a free kick in the 10th minute. Reynaldo Soin struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Rene Casomiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Colgados. Reynaldo Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes Los Colgados got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Bidari. In the 25th minute, Hermengildo Oskitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Berart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Urki in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Celso Urki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Berart, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Los Colgados's zone, Cecilio Cordaryal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Berart came out of the goal and Cecilio Cordaryal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Cecilio Cordaryal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moreno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Urki made a kick off. Pedro Berart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Fonda in the 54th minute of the match. Pedro Berart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Cordaryal's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. A collision led to Los Colgados getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Delmar Bidari hit a great ball. Cecilio Cordaryal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pedro Berart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Berart having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Delmar Garaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Moreno booed when Los Colgados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Bela didn't get a good kick on the ball.
