Marco Erruki took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Papo. Gregorio Papo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 39th match minute, Chañaritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Joseph to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Crispo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Guaberto Crispo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Chañaritos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Crispo couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Marco Erruki made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chañaritos booed when Córdoba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Eskuin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Erruki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gregorio Papo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chañaritos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
