A collision led to Nautico Santo Tomé getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Roque Ignado hit a great ball. Raul Resende might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Laurgain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Resende ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliano Laurgain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Resende in the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Lain got free with Dario Macerio in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Nautico Santo Tomé's zone, John Toschi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Laurgain came out of the goal and John Toschi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Los Pibes FC's John Toschi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Laurgain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when John Toschi sped through Nautico Santo Tomé's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliano Laurgain. In the 26th minute Pedro Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Laurgain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Nautico Santo Tomé's goal looked a bit too open when John Toschi came free, but Aureliano Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Jerrold's late challenge caught a Los Pibes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Jerrold helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nautico Santo Tomé getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alberto Jerrold hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that John Toschi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Laurgain was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Rodrigo Lain charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Lain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Aureliano Laurgain came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Pibes FC's John Toschi. But to his dismay, John Toschi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Amador Nesor fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nautico Santo Tomé's protests and gave Amador Nesor a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Nautico Santo Tomé:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Pibes FC:s goal. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Los Pibes FC. John Toschi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aureliano Laurgain. 0-3. Dario Macerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. John Toschis short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Aureliano Laurgain to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Los Pibes FC's Martin Salvatore got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Rodrigo Lain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Macerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Nautico Santo Tomé's Aureliano Laurgain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Nautico Santo Tomé from getting a goal against them. Aureliano Laurgain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Toschi in the 84th minute of the match. When John Toschi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Los Pibes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Toschi couldn't finish the play. If Martin Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Javiar in the 98th minute of the match.
