In the 5th minute, Javier Milian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Cordeal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Simbol's Bram Heije got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Simbol's zone, Anselmo Chorche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Cordeal came out of the goal and Anselmo Chorche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Vitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th minute, Adalberto Dove reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Genaro Quilo. The goal made the score 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Simbol's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Chorche came free, but Patricio Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Quilo was a little too slow when Bram Heije got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. C A Temperley's Genaro Quilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save C A Temperley from getting a goal against them. Anselmo Chorche hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Genaro Quilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Dove in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Simbol getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Adalberto Dove hit a great ball. The supporters of Simbol booed when C A Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Adalberto Dove managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Dove was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Patricio Cordeal was a little too slow when Anselmo Chorche got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-1. The supporters of Simbol booed when C A Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Mikelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Milians short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Patricio Cordeal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adalberto Dove struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Genaro Quilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simbol. In the 63rd match minute, C A Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Innocenzio to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes C A Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Innocenzio. Simbol's Augusto Tiso was substituted for Fabio Eate. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Katia in the 87th minute of play forced C A Temperley's goalkeeper Genaro Quilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalberto Dove might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Quilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adalberto Dove ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, Arnold Ábrahám left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. If Adalberto Dove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simbol's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
