Oscar Azibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Silvanito in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Berlin Spießkantkeil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Umbruso to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Kelemen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Orzaize's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Samuel Luzaide notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Berlin Spießkantkeil's Nicasio Kelemen. Nicasio Kelemen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inocencio Iliana was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, Berlin Spießkantkeil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Silvanito to maneuver through the defense. The Berlin Spießkantkeil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Newppy were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godfredo Etxeberri made a kick off. Samuel Luzaide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Godfredo Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuel Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Etxeberri struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Nicasio Kelemen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newppy. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Samuel Luzaide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newppy's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Luzaide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Kelemen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Etxeberri took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicasio Kelemen. Nicasio Kelemen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 90th match minute, Newppy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Bitxintxo to maneuver through the defense. If Lucas Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Lucas Silvanito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Oscar Azibar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Newppy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Berlin Spießkantkeil throughout the match.
