Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Baigorrita FC's Robustiano Fresco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Robustiano Fresco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Assunção. Robustiano Fresco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Evelio Sansone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Quinito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Assunção stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Fresco's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Florentino Quinito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Assunção showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Fresco in the 24th minute of the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Florentino Quinito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baigorrita FC's Evelio Sansone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robustiano Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Carlos Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Baigorrita FC booed when rolo team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gian-Carlo Arriaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Constantino Fernendo in the 44th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Carlos Assunção's left hand side. If Robustiano Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florentino Quinito was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Assunção showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Fresco in the 51st minute of the match. Ricardo Paiva's late challenge caught a Baigorrita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Baigorrita FC booed when rolo team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Robustiano Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Sansone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Quinito in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, rolo team's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Fresco came free, but Carlos Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Casimiro Gaitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The rolo team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Cipriano Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Quinito came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evelio Sansone could save by the left post. 80 minutes into the game, Diego Blai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Carlos Assunção was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, rolo team's Sebastian George got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Esteve Vela hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Robustiano Fresco struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carlos Assunção didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baigorrita FC. Cipriano Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Assunção having to interfere. Robustiano Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Diego Blai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baigorrita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Blai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Baigorrita FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
